To facilitate the transformation of the Ogun State Public Service to perform effectively and efficiently for sustained improvement in service delivery to the citizens through technically competent and motivated staff, collaborating with all stakeholders, using modern technology.

Policy Thrust:
1. Facilitating public service transformation processes and activities;
2. Developing and applying organizational performance metrics and systems for the Ogun State Public Service;
3. In collaboration with other MDAs, developing processes that would enhance productivity, effective service delivery and minimize costs in the State Public Service;
4. Developing and facilitating strategies that will position the Ogun State Public Service for sustainable transformation;
5. Coordinating technical support services from local and foreign partners regarding improved service delivery and public service transformation;
6. Facilitating the preparation and implementation of Service Charters, Service Level Agreements and Service Improvement Plans, and monitoring performance of service standards by the MDAs;
7. Facilitating the mapping and streamlining of the mandates of MDAs for effective synergy;
8. Monitoring and reviewing the operation of the One-Stop Public Enquiry Service;
9. Identifying new and better ways of working in order to accelerate service delivery towards achieving government plans and programmes;
10. Facilitating creative and innovative ideas, approaches, systems and processes that can improve public service delivery; amongst other service improvement functions.
