Functions of the Department:
- Developing processes that would enhance productivity, effective service delivery and minimise costs in the Ogun State Public Service;
- Coordinating technical support services from local and foreign partners regarding improved service delivery and Public Service transformation in collaboration with Public Service Reform and Innovations Department;
- Facilitating the preparation and implementation of service charters, service level agreement and service improvement plans, and monitoring performance of service standards by MDAs;
- Monitoring and reviewing the operation of the One-Stop Public Enquiry Service;
- Identifying new and better ways of working in order to accelerate service delivery towards achieving government policies, plans and programmes;
- Facilitating creative and innovative ideas, approaches, systems and processes that can improve public service delivery; and
- Advising the State Government on public service delivery and process re-engineering.
