PROFILE:

Mrs. Ogunleye Olaseni Abosede was born in Elere-Adubi in Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State on 17^th March, 1964 to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel Adebakin

She attended Saint Simeon Primary School, Elere-Adubi for her Primary School Education, Owu Comprehensive High School, Elere-Adubi for her West African School Certificate, later proceeded for her tertiary education at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Ojere, Abeokuta and Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye now Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye for  her Higher School Certificate and First Degree in Education, Business Administration respectively. She finally bagged her Masters Degree in Managerial Psychology at University of Ibadan, Oyo State.

She served with the then Ogun State Bulk Purchasing Corporation Nigeria, Zone 2, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta before joining Ogun State Public Service in 1991. She started her Civil Service career as an Education Officer at Bureau of Establishments and Training (Staff Development Centre), Abeokuta, through year 2007. She had worked in various positions at Secondary Department, Primary and Higher Education Department. She was Zonal Education Officer, Abeokuta South, Odogbolu and Sagamu Zonal Education Offices at different times between year 2010 and 2014. Madam Olaseni later joined the Directorate Cadre of the Ministry in 2014 where she served as the Director of Primary and Higher Education Department between 30^th April, 2014 to 2^nd June, 2015 and Secondary Education Department in 2^nd June, 2015 to 12^th April, 2019, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta

Ogunleye Olaseni is a member of several professional Associations and a member of Governing Councils; Teacher Registration Council, Olabisi Onabanjo University, Tai Solarin University of Education among others. A multiple Award Winner; Merit Award as Best ZEO in Sagamu, 18^th December, 2014 from National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools, Year 2015 Best Director of Education from Zonal Education Office, Ifo, Award of Excellence for prestigious and Immense Contribution to the Development of the School on 20^th July 2017, Westhall College, Ita Oluwo and many more.

She was appointed Permanent Secretary on Wednesday, 10^th April, 2019 and posted to the Ministry of Agriculture, April to December, 2019 and now to Her wonderful Agency Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Oke-Abeokuta since 2^nd January, 2020 till date.

She is a Christian, happily married and blessed with Children.
