• To oversee all the Dental Centres and Units
• Quality control and maintenance of Standard of care in all the Dental Centres and units.
• Advisory role in matter relating to Dental and oral health practice.
• Monitoring, Supervision and Evaluation of Dental and Oral Health Workers (Dental Consultants, Dental Officers, Dental Technologists, Dental Therapists/Hygienists, Dental Technicians/Oral-Dental Nurses) in all Dental Centres and Units.
• Monitoring, Supervision and Evaluation of Infrastructure and Equipment and Consumables in all Dental Centres and Units.
• Co-ordination of Clinical training of Dental Officers, Dental Technologists, Dental Therapists/Hygienists, Dental Technicians/Oral-Dental Nurses.
• Coordination, deployment of Dental Consultants, Dental Officers, Dental Technologists, Dental Therapists/Hygienists, Dental Technicians/Oral-Dental Nurses.
• Coordination of provision of Structures and Equipment in Hospitals, Dental Centres and Units.
• Coordination of re-training/on the job capacity building of health workers.
• Management of supply Chain of Dental Commodities and Hand Instruments/Equipment to the Dental Centres and Units.

Ensure compliance with professional regulations of the Regulatory bodies.
